Very cool!  Coincidentally, I brought City along on the way to work today for the first time in a very long time...I'm happy to report, it's still awesome.

OK this is STRANGE...

My wife (normal listening includes Yanni, David Lanz, and that blind Italian guy. Only things we agree on are CGT,T-Lev, Michael Hedges, and classical) just introduced me to a metal band.

Bad sound but I'd go see them. They're apparently the biggest thing in Japan, our nephew over there made my wife swear she would check them out.

Reminds me a bit of Painkeller era Judas Priest.

They have been playing together since the early 80s.
They played the Sunday main stage at Lollapalooza, last but one before Soundgarden.

STRANGEST thing, wife says she wants to go see them if they come here.

Thanks. That was hilarious, even if it doesn't let you punch the head to stop it from bouncing.

By the way, be sure to click on "Deafening" on the list at the end of that episode, to hear a line I routinely quote to my (confused) students:
"I come for the wuggas, but stay for the jiggy juggas!"

Also, I still think my favorite musical sbemail is the guitar episode.
