I thought I remembered both the Slicks being vegetarians, but I'm not sure. Actually, after the ABPT show the other day, the EM and I complimented Eric on how the band in general and he in particular has so much energy every night. His answer was, "it's all due to vegetables."

Re: squerd, I always figured it worked on roughly the same principle as dwarf bread.

If its particularly high in fiber, probably also an emphasis on "run".

Oh!  You were on the Santa Barbara course too?

Or it could be that he's a 20 year old....

I've met Bob several times, but only at events where he made himself available for such interaction on his own terms. He is always very cordial in these situations. If I saw him at a restaurant or something similar, I wouldn't even think of intruding on his private life.

At his Frippertronics shows, his lackeys addressed him as Bob.

I had some interaction with the Fripp-meister after his Exposure/Frippertronics presentation in Atlanta, I bought Exposure and several Crim LP's I either had not yet aquired, or had aquired in less than M- versions of, and he patiently autographed them all. He also answered a couple of questions I had, Although I no longer recall the querys or the answers. In 1981, after seeing the KC show in DC and MD, I was centerstage at the ATL,GA show peering through a crack in the curtains, as he checked out the stage setup before the show, and said to me "don't stare at me, it makes me nervous". By some bizarre twist of fate, I ended up 10 feet in front of him in Nashville this tour, slightly to the left of his effects rack, so he was visible. I made it a point to stare at him a wee bit. Merely for old times sake, mind you.
