I hate it.  Coach Freakin Scott, you suck.

Oh, wait, I actually don't hate it.  And Scott, you're ok.  For a guy who likes soccer, that is.

No wait, I hate it again.

I can't make up my mind.

I'll let it fester for awhile.  Like a boil.  Then I'll let you know.

Judging by the error log that shows me three pages of "The letters you typed don't match the letters that were shown in the picture." and the fact that there hasn't been any new "members" to the forum for the past couple of days I'd say the anti-spammer features of SMF are better than those on phpBB.  It's too early to declare victory, but so far so good.

I have two questions, Scott.

I just wrote a PM to someone and sent it but then when I looked it doesn't appear in my outbox.  Should it?

After I get timed out or log off it still has my name as being logged in.  How do I get rid of that?

Nevermind Scott, I now know the answers to both questions.  For those of you who are interesting in knowing:

1.  You have to click 'save in outbox' to have a copy of a sent message.  I didn't do that.

2.  That appears to only happen when you time out.  I logged out and it went away.

Thanks anyway!

I just found a bug in the column alignment in the last half of this page -> http://planetcrimson.net/forum/index.php?topic=222.0

What happened there?

O!

I'd have to dig into the database to know for sure, but my first hunch is some html code embedded in that post.  Maybe something that the phpBB board didn't have a problem with that is messing up the CSS on this board.

If I have some free time (or if it bugs me to distraction) I'll have a look.

Found it. A lot of ugly html code left in the posts that were ported from phpBB.

This website is too much of a distraction.  I'm supposed to be writing software design descriptions.  ANYTHING can distract me from the hell that is an SDD.  Almost as bad as the hell that is an STD. Smiley
