Finally, a trendy-social-networking-gimmick article I and my fellow dinosaurs can really relate to.

I played with foursquare on tiwtter for a bit, but quickly discovered a few things:
1. Foursquare is very chatty, posting statuses for you about all sorts of things and self-congratulatory notes about your awards, etc.
2. Lots of people on twitter and facebook consider pointless chatter to be douchebaggery.
3. foursquare posts (including your current whereabouts) are public posts which provide tremendous advance intel for potential burglars.

After looking at the revised map in the new Tom the Dancing Bug strip, I'm disappointed but not surprised to find that GA is still part of the revised United States.  I may want to move up with y'all in Chicago, as I like baguettes and poodles.

Thom Yorke apparently says the collapse of the music industry is more imminent than we thought.

Maybe he'll use that phrase "small mobile intelligent unit" in the textbook article too.

The visualisation is pretty, but I'm a spreadsheet/list man, myself...

I think I'm the opposite. But regardless of format - that's awesome!

And this may be apropos of nothing, but it's got some cool pictures and a nerdy-prog connection.

Presenting the Millenium Falcon Guitar, perfect for playing a Han Solo (thanks to commentor Felton for this tag too good not to re-use).
